Got a problem? Write a list about rainbows.

Sometimes it seems like I am the only person in the world who does not want to leave high school. Everyone I talk to says something along the lines of, "Ugh, more assignments. I can't wait to get out of here."

It is fine to want to move forward in your life, however I feel that rather than feeling bitter about the present, more people should be getting excited about the future.

One of the ways that I like to get myself excited for events is writing lists. If I am going to travel or go on a school camp, I like to write packing lists. If I am going to go shopping with friends, I like to write lists of what I'd wish to purchase. If I know that my weekend will be filled the a mountain of work, I like to write a list of every single thing I have to do.

I never finish my lists.

That doesn't matter though, because as long as I have a positive outlook, I'll be okay. So WHAT I have an important life-changing exam that could determine whether I make it or break it? I don't know what is going to happen, but I know that AFTER the exams, I have great things planned.

THINGS TO DO AFTER UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAMS:

- reconstruct my old clothes
- donate clothes that are too small
- make a music video with the my friends
- learn how to play COD and other masculine related games
- get a job
- re-arrange my shoe-box of a room
- fall in love with classic literature
- get into a regular exercise routine
- write music.......

..... and of course, the list is not complete yet. It will keep growing as time goes on, but it doesn't matter what  is on my list. What DOES matter is that I'm enjoying the idea of "what's next?" rather than "I hate my life".

Don't read this as if you have never wished you could fast-forward a period of time in your life, because I know you have.

SUMMARY:
If you feel like you are going through a rough bump, write a list and get excited for what is AFTER the bump

♥ think, smile, fly.
